ABOUT THE CREATORS

Hi, I’m Drexel. I am a student at Mark Keppel High School. I started my programming with Scratch in 2015; in the past decade, I have worked with Python, Java, C#, HTML, and other languages that have fueled my love for computer science.  I have a passion for innovating, advancement, and learning.  In the coming years, I will work to give back to the community and I hope that I can make a change in the world – no matter how small.

Hi, I’m Evan. I am a student at Mark Keppel High School.  My journey in computer science sparked when I was 6. Ever since, I have been making projects and working with my friends. In the future I hope to create the game of my dreams.

Hello, my name is Athicha. I’m a student at Mark Keppel High School. I started coding during quarantine, inspired by the character Heimerdinger from League of Legends, whose creativity and intellect sparked my curiosity. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to learning and developing my skills in programming. My long-term goal is to work at NASA and contribute to creating innovative and impactful technology.

Hi, I’m Alina. I am a student at Mark Keppel High School. I started my coding journey when I was 8 years old at Let’s Code, a coding school in Monterey Park. I have always loved helping people, and learning about STEM subjects. In the future I hope to pursue my passion of mathematics in an engineering field.

Our team first came together in 2022 for the Congressional App Challenge. Our first project together was Eduparty, a fun learning app made for grades K-6. Now, our team attends high school at Mark Keppel  in the Alhambra Unified School District. As instructors at Let’s Code, a computer school where we once learned to code, we are passionate about technology and accessibility. Through our projects, we aim to make a meaningful impact using the skills we’ve developed over the years.
